The W900 is a model of Kenworth truck designed for heavy-duty and long haul operations. The Kenworth W900B is a model of W900. What makes the W900B unique is its short hood. The engine sizes for the W900 range from 9 to 16 liters and it accommodates up to a 625-horsepower engine.

The W900 has a large polished aluminum battery box mounted under the cab on the driver’s side. A matching toolbox is mounted on the passenger side. The fuel tank is mounted under the sleeper on both sides of the truck. The exhaust pipe is routed under the frame and comes out between the fuel tanks and battery tool box and connects to the exhaust stacks.

Since the day it was introduced, the W900 has set the standard for long-haul power, performance and reliability. The Kenworth is used in the United States and Canadian markets where traffic travels on the right side of the road. The W900 has front axles from 12,000 to 22,000 lb ratings, and rear axles from 23,000-lb single to 58,000-lb tandems, which is greater than most semi’s. This 1991 Kenworth W900B is coupled to a miller log dolly to help provide powerful support.
