About Peterbilt 379

The Peterbilt 379 is still considered a trucking industry legend and the most popular owner-operator truck. This Class 8 series truck is considered a collectors item and even more so after it was featured as Optimus Prime’s alternate mode for all three installments of the live-action Transformers film series.

Available in standard 119" bbc and long hood 127" bbc lengths, the 379 is known for its signature long-nose styling coupled with a rugged edged yet refined profile. The Peterbilt 379 is the last conventional over-the-road truck available with an aluminum hood.

This 1999 Peterbilt 379 is personally owned by Joe Martin Hay Hauling, a licensed and bonded freight shipping and trucking company running freight hauling from Galt, California. Its 100-gallon fuel capacity gives the 379 the opportunity to make long trips with few stops.
